Hi! I'm Megan. I've been a H!P fan since around January-February 2012. Even though I'm female I do class myself as a wota (wotas are generally male, lol), but I'm not an extreme wota, only a mild one. Except for maybe when it comes to Okai Chisato, but even then, I do not go to the extreme lengths that some in Japan do to support their favourite members.
I also do like Pokemon.
Yagi is Japanese for goat. I learn Japanese and somewhere along the way I earned the nickname 'Yagi-san'.

In late January 2012, I started watching the anime Shugo Chara!. This led to hearing songs by Buono! for the opening and closing themes. When I got to Shugo Chara! Doki!, and Shugo Chara! Party! I also heard songs by Shugo Chara Egg! and Guardians 4. After seeing the members' actual faces in Shugo Chara! Party!, I was intrigued to find out who they were. So I Googled the anime, and found the names of the groups. Then I found out that they were groups only made for the themes so I at first, found them useless and sad. But then, I found out about Hello! Project after learning their names (just) and ended up stumbling across this wiki. Buono! was by far my favourite of the three groups that did the themes for Shugo Chara!.
Later, around March, I listened to some of Buono!'s single B-sides and later singles after Shugo Chara! ended. During that journey, I also accidently listened to FOREVER LOVE, by ℃-ute. But then I didn't realise that it was them, even though I recognised Suzuki Airi. Later that month I started listening to Berryz Koubou.
In April, I came down with a cold, so I surfed YouTube for more Berryz Koubou songs to listen to. Then I once again stumbled across FOREVER LOVE, and forgot that I had listened to the song before until I started to remember the lyrics and rhythms. I then decided to listen to more songs by ℃-ute. Some of the other ℃-ute songs that I listened to were SHOCK!, Massara Blue Jeans and Sekaiichi HAPPY na Onna no Ko. When listening to Sekaiichi HAPPY na Onna no Ko, I was at first surprised by Okai Chisato's voice in the first verse. I didn't expect her voice to be like that. Their colour-coded outfits in the MV helped me learn their names, even though I already knew Suzuki Airi and Nakajima Saki from Buono! and Guardians 4, respectively.
Around mid-June, I heard Only you, Morning Musume's 47th single. I had already read a bit about Morning Musume, so I knew which ones were Mitsui Aika, who was in Guardians 4, and Takahashi Ai, because I knew for that single, she had dyed her hair blonde. I then continued to listen to more of their songs. I then found out that Takahashi Ai was no longer in the group (I knew that Niigaki Risa had already graduated by that time).
There wasn't much H!P action for me in July, but in very late July, Okai Chisato had become my favourite H!P member. August has also been rather uneventful, with the exception of the creation of my H!P wiki account on the 4th. On August 14, 2012, I joined the MinoMonsters Wiki, as I had begun playing MinoMonsters 5 days prior. August 20, 2012 marks the date I joined the Dragon Cave Wiki.
- My favourite H!P group is ℃-ute.
- I earned the nickname 'Yagi-san' in my Japanese class. It came about when I said 'gimmethatpaper' really fast as an answer to 'What is your name?' in Japanese, because I couldn't remember how to say it, and I didn't have the paper with the phrase 'My name is ________' in Japanese. That then somehow morphed into 'Paper-Eater', before turning into 'Goat' before becoming 'Yagi', the Japanese word for 'Goat'.
- I want to go to Japan. Not just because of H!P, though.
