Mogi Minami (茂木美奈実) is a former member of Hello! Project as a member of Hello Pro Kenshuusei. She was introduced on September 11, 2011 at the Hello Pro Egg 2011 Happyoukai ~9gatsu no Nama Tamago Show!~, and withdrew in November 2012.

In late 2014, she pursued solo activities however has been on hiatus since April 2015.

2010[]

In 2010, Mogi participated in the Morning Musume 9ki Audition and was a finalist, but was not chosen to enter the group.

2011[]

On June 20, as the Morning Musume 10ki Member "Genki Jirushi" Audition was occurring, it was revealed that Mogi would be joining Hello Pro Egg alongside Ogawa Rena and Otsuka Aina.[1] Later that year, she participated in the S/mileage Shin Member Boshuu! auditions, but failed to pass.

On September 11, she made her debut as a Hello Pro Egg member at the Hello Pro Egg 2011 Happyoukai ~9gatsu no Nama Tamago Show!~ concert.

2012[]

In 2012, Mogi participated in the Morning Musume 11ki Member "Suppin Utahime" Audition, but failed to pass.

On November 20, Mogi's profile was removed from the Hello Pro Kenshuusei website, indicating that she had withdrawn from the program.[2]

2014[]

On November 9, she opened a Twitter account.

On December 20, she participated in a release party for Ichijiku as the opening act.

2015[]

On March 29, she participated in a live at Shibuya O-Nest.

On March 31, she participated in a live at Holiday Next Nagoya.

On April 3, she participated in Otsuka Aina's birthday event at Shibuya Star Lounge. On April 18, she participated in the "GIRL'S POWER Vol1" live at Akasaka Club Tenjiku. On April 19, she participated in the "Otaku Senen ~Ota-ku Bunka Kai Vol.116" event at Kingsx Tokyo.

On May 23, she participated in the "Good Idol Music Vol. 30" event at Birth Shinjuku.

On April 20, she announced on her Twitter that she would be suspending activities to focus on her education.[3]

    • She has been doing gymnastics since she was four years old.
    • Her closest friend within Hello Pro Kenshuusei was Otsuka Aina.
    • When she was in Hello Pro Kenshuusei, she said her dream was to join Morning Musume.
    • On a rainy day she would hang out with her friends at the library, or sing "Dance de Bakoon!" by ℃-ute.
    • During the 9th generation audition, Morning Musume fans often referred to as "the crying girl" or "tragic-chan".
    • She has a younger sister named Miu, who debuted as a member of the indie idol group Ishin Gravity in 2018.[4][5]
