Minna no Rhythm Tengoku (みんなのリズム天国;Everybody's Rhythm Heaven) is a 2011 rhythm game for the Wii developed by Nintendo and TNX. It is the third game of the Rhythm Tengoku series, and was released in the Americas as Rhythm Heaven Fever, and in Europe as Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise. Tsunku is one of the game's producers and its primary composer. It sold over 600,000 copies in the Japanese market.
Notable Performers[]
Notably, the Japanese version of the game features tracks performed by:
- THE Possible - I love you Watashi no Kimi (I love you 私の君; I Love You, My One and Only)
- Ogawa Mana - I Feel Fine!! (Tonight).
- Canary Club - Yagate Onna wa Kirei ni Naru Darou? (やがて女はきれいになるだろう; Beautiful One Day)
- NICE GIRL Project! Kenshuusei - Bokura no Sedai! (僕らの世代!; Dreams of Our Generation)
These songs were translated and dubbed by other performers for the international releases. In addition, familiar names such as Yuasa Koichi, Okubo Kaoru, Takahashi Yuichi, Itagaki Yusuke, Tanaka Nao, AKIRA, Kikuya Tomoki, and Suzuki "Daichi" Hideyuki worked on music arrangement.
Gameplay[]
Like all Rhythm Heaven games, Minna consists of dozens of minigames with different types of audiovisual cues for player interaction. Whereas the second game in the series used touch-based input, Minna returns to the button-based gameplay of the original. It was decided that trying to incorporate motion controls while maintaining the series's fast pace would be too tiring.
