It peaked at number eight on the Oricon charts and was track #1 on Fujimoto's album Miki 1. The promotional video for "Boogie Train '03" features Hello! Project Kids: Umeda Erika, Tokunaga Chinami, Tsugunaga Momoko, and Sudo Maasa. It was also the last song she released before joining as the 6th generation member of Morning Musume and the first pressing of it came in a limited edition tin packaging.
