Aa! (あぁ!) was the second Hello! Project unit that Hello! Project Kids members officially joined. It was lead by Morning Musume member Tanaka Reina, and featured Hello! Project Kids members Natsuyaki Miyabi and Suzuki Airi. Tsunku chose this name because of all the feelings it refers to, presumably being in love.

2003 Edit

Aa! released their first, and only, single "FIRST KISS", on the 29th October 2003. This song appears on the compilation album "Petit Best 4".

On October 31, 2003, Aa! appeared on the popular show Music Station.

2004-2007Edit

In 2004, Natsuyaki Miyabi joined Berryz Koubou, while Suzuki Airi became part of the group ℃-ute in 2005.

In 2006, Tanaka and Suzuki teamed with another Hello! Project Kid, Murakami Megumi, for the song "Suki ni Naccha Ikenai Hito", one of the coupling tracks on the H.P. All Stars' "ALL FOR ONE & ONE FOR ALL!" single. The track is credited to the individual participants, but many fans have informally referred to this grouping as "Aa! Version 2."

In 2007, Natsuyaki Miyabi and Suzuki Airi joined Buono!.

2009 Edit

In 2009, The group returned from hiatus and took part in the Hello! Project album Chanpuru 1 ~Happy Marriage Song Cover Shuu~, with a lineup of Natsuyaki Miyabi, Suzuki Airi and Saho Akari. Tanaka Reina is instead featured as a member of High-King, who are also on the album. They were later featured in the compilation album Petit Best 10, with "Yume to Genjitsu".
